Purpose
The purpose of the assignment is to provide students the opportunity to design a research project meant to improve performance of an athletic team (or any group that fits personal career aspirations) by applying sports psychology principles studied in class. Students submit a 5-7 page paper using the headings below.
OVERVIEW OF ASSIGNMENT
Students originate, research, and design a team performance-improvement project
Students complete the project independently (this is not a group project)
The project should focus on an aspect of sport or exercise psychology of personal interest
Use text slide shows and course materials to help you decide on a focus/topic
The project should be designed to enhance sport or exercise performance for an athletic team
or a group of your choosing
