The purpose of this assignment is to: (i) apply the basic laws of physics to the radiation from planetary objects; (ii) understand the radiation budget of the Earth and Su n; and (iii) appreciate your personal emission of greenhouse gases and its effects on the greenhouse effect NOTE : the quality of your presentation (neatness, spelling, grammar, etc.) is an important component of your grade for this assignment.
