Queries: Queries are questions you ask about the data stored in a database. For example, I could use queries with my database to ask: Which cakes have 4 tiers and are under $600? What kind of cake decorations can I select? Which cake bakers have yellow cake flavor with buttercream icing and pineapple filling?
Forms: A form is a database object that you can create and customize to maintain, view and print records in a database in different and useful ways. For example, customers with specific preferences can view different kinds of cake shapes and cake colors - a hyperlink can direct customers to cake bakers who could fulfill their custom order. I could also use forms with my database to view and enter cake decoration information about bride and groom figurines in a memo field.
Reports: Reports are formatted printout (or screen display) of the contents of one or more tables or queries in a database. Reports can show someone the prices of a wedding cake based upon their personal preferences. For example, I could show customers a listing of the prices for a cake size and shape that is 10 inch round with 4 tiers, with various toppers and decorations.
