The city of Coconut Creek has a population of 61,010 as of 2017 (World Population Review, 2019). The population included races such as White 75.6%, Black or African Americans 15.8%, Asian 4.4%, Hispanics 7.9 %, and others. The median age between male and females is 40. There are 49,192 adults which included 10,985 elderly adults. Children under five years old are 6.1%, and persons under 18 years old are 21.9% of the population (United States Census Bureau, n.d.). The City of Coconut Creek owner-occupied household is higher than the renter-occupied household. The majority of the married population (45.3%) and another type of families and individuals (nonfamily 38.6%, female 12.1, and male 4.0) own real stated (World Population Review, 2019).

Religion
Based on data collected by Broward County Data and Religion Census, there is a variety of religious centers and religion practice in the city of Coconut Creek. The statistics reveal that 63.3% of the population does not claim any religion, 16. % is Catholic, 12.7% are Evangelical Protestant, and there is 0.3% Orthodox (City-Data.com, n.d.).

Community Centers
There are two community centers one is at 1100 Lyons Road, which is part of an urban park. At the park, there are playgrounds, pickleball courts, picnic tables, basketball courts, and a vast green area. The community center at Coconut Creek offers activities for all ages, senior citizens, adults, and kids. At this location, the community has access to a computer room and a conference room. The second location is at 4455 Sol Press Boulevard that has similar amenities (Coconut Creek Florida, n.d.).
