What are the effects of play on child development?
Child development is the physical and mental development of a child that enables them to perform sophisticated activities requiring emotional and physical toughness. Child development, in most cases, is facilitated through plays. Plays in children differ according to their age, but in most cases, children initiated plays are an imitation of what order parties that a child in question does. I was interested in this topic because I wanted to understand how a game impacts a child's development, either mentally or physically. As my research topic, it was necessary to help gain more insight into how leisure and rest associated with-play aids in a child's development. This question regards the topic of concern is significant because it exploits how a child's mental and physical emotion can be build or broken at the same time.
This topic was interesting, especially when it started introducing different roles played by plays in different aspects of child development. This varies from physical development, emotional development, social development, the role of child's play to their cognitive development. From this topic, plays that promote physical development of a child are associated with frequent physical activities between or among children, and at times they seem to act so rough, which hardens their physical body. This research question helped understand the approach to assess how a child's emotional development is achieved through plays. In most cases, their mental development is achieved through emotional conflicts with their peers. To facilitate efficient mental development as a child, play therapy serves the purpose where an adult subjects children to sophisticated emotional circumstances and helps them to tackle and solve them and remain mentally stable.
From the topic, child social development is explained as a factor of play between children and their peers. Children playing with older people than them exposes hem to many social parameters that a child need to beware of. At this stage, children should be able to relate the theory of mind to the development of friendship with others. However, the role of play does not always contribute to physical development; it bre4aks mental development and emotional strengthening of a child at times.
Stress and autism are among the common factors that hinder a child's play. For disabled children, the miss that opportunity to explore themselves optimally due to physical constraints. Some plays involve the division of roles, and at ties, some children are neglected by their peers. This subjects a child to depression breaks their mental development and deny them a chance to engage in plays that facilitates healthier physical development of a child. Child's ability to exploit their lives through plays is discriminated in that boys are given more freedom to explore plays than girls. This creates unequal chances of child development between boys and girls.
