Abstract
The ongoing pandemic has introduced a myriad of business realities, one of which is the need to manage workforce diversity. Scholars are yet to account for how businesses have responded to the new normal and the contribution of workforce diversity to organizational success. This study addresses a case study of how L3 Harris Technologies has adapted to the need to manage diversity in its bid to revolutionize innovation, boost employee performance, and harness stakeholder satisfaction. A sample including employees and organizational stakeholders such as customers were interviewed to collect their views on the organization's practices on managing diversity in the workplace. It was hypothesized that overall increased customer satisfaction, employee satisfaction, and increased performance are observed in the organization following the implementation of inclusivity and diversity as critical components of the organizational culture. The study led to the finding that with the effective and efficient management of workforce diversity, the organization recorded increased productivity in the workplace, innovation, and an improvement in customer satisfaction. The organization’s relationship with the public as well as government entities also improved.
