Stakeholder Management

For the Trillo Apparel Company project to be successful there is a need to highlight some of the critical aspects such as communication and interaction. Ideally, the project manager, stakeholders, and the project team are instrumental in execution, and they should be involved in all the processes. Importantly, the project manager has to consider the reflections of the subordinates and all the supervisors since they have information in linkage with the project (Marks, 2012). For instance, the warehouse workers have the appropriate ideas that could be used in the renovation of the store since they have experience in the area. For this reason, there is a need for vertical and horizontal communication between the workers so that the relay of information is coherent and effective. For instance, all subordinates need to communicate directly to their supervisors. Subsequently, the supervisors should discuss in meeting s that they find the suitable solutions to any of the problems that they may be facing (Australia and Gido, 2014). Imperatively, the data should reach the project manager so that the holder of the office can communicate to the stakeholders and the project team. With such discussions, the progress of the project will be as expected and there is a limit to the number of factors that could inhibit timely execution.

Project managers have to consider all perspectives that may hinder or affect the execution of activity since they are dealing with teams that have individuals with distinct characters, behaviors, and opinions. Imperatively, they may face difficulties when they have to pursue a specific ideal, yet the contrasting opinions lead to a conflict (Australia and Gido, 2014). As such, they need to ensure there is uniformity such that the ultimate decision maker confirms the approach that should be undertaken. Innately, some of the people that are involved in the team may not have adequate skills to execute the project yet they are utterly involved in decision making. On this note, there is a need to train all individuals on the specific goals of the institution. Thirdly, lack of accountability in a group may stall the project due to embezzlement of funds and misappropriation (Marks, 2012). In particular, there is a need to assess competencies of each before a delegation of duties. Notwithstanding, improper risk management may hinder the prosperity of the project since perils may occur. For instance, workers may be injured if the mitigation strategies are not in place. Additionally, contingency plans need to be formulated to annihilate any chance of stalling the project.

The project by Trillo Apparel Company needs to consider some of the factors that may affect the team’s performance. First, there is a need to put in place contingency plans including the availability of temporary laborers since some of the workers may not work if they are attacked by sickness or if they may have an emergency (Australia and Gido, 2014). Secondly, there is a need to avail risk managers such that they evaluate any hazards that could halt the project. For instance, they need to avail appropriate apparel for all individuals for safety reasons. On this note, there is minimal susceptibility to the workers. Thirdly, the firm should consider the availability of all materials needed since shipping and procurement would affect the timely execution of the project. Additionally, there is a need for continuous assessment such that the project managers affirm that the project is executed as planned.

Trillo Apparel Company should consider some pitfalls that could affect the execution of the project, and this could be detrimental to the investment. For instance, there is a need to consider the sequence of activities such that jobs that can be completed simultaneously should have supervisors that have the capacity to monitor the progress independently (Marks, 2012). On the other hand, the duties that are executed depending on the preceding project should be on time since this could affect the end. More so, it is imperative to monitor the use of materials and resources since misuse could have a deplorable effect on the financial capacity of the institution. In particular, the project manager may have to use the additional money to purchase materials to complete the project. Additionally, it is important to focus on the effect on the stability of the production since this project runs concurrently with the scope of business of the company.
