Formal essay, consider the following question: 

How does one attain happiness, and is happiness achievable? 

In an essay between 4-5 pages in length answer the aforementioned question. The paper should include a works cited page. The works cited page does not count towards the page count. Your paper should be written in MLA format and will need to include:

1)  An original thesis statement that makes an argument about happiness. Some possible questions to consider can be:

•  
  • How does one attain happiness?
  • Is happiness achievable?
  • Do we have a right to be happy?
  • Is happiness a personal choice?

2) Evidence should be drawn from at least 2-3 readings from this class to support your thesis. I have provided two links to the readings

3) Evidence should be drawn from 1-2 outside sources (academic journals, magazines, newspapers, credible journals, etc.). 

Please make that each paragraph has a strong topic sentence and supports the thesis. Also, make sure to proofread your work for grammar and MLA format before you submit.
