About me:

My name is Manya, i am a professional tutor and interest in teaching began while I was teaching as a non-licensed teacher for almost two years at a local secondary school in my home place. However, I felt bad for I was not able to provide my students with the best quality education because I was not well-trained but given the job due to community’s need. Since 2012 until now, having worked in an urban secondary public school in Nairobi as an educational assistant, I really love my job as an educator: tutor. As a result, I decided to take a step further by joining University of Nairobi to become a good educator for the lifelong learning journey of the new generations.
After I got my degree, I secured a job to teach at an urban secondary school. I was very proud to be part of community education. I am now happy that I am a useful resource person not only to my country but to the whole world. I am now an academic tutor able to teach and deliver quality content to my students. Having been in the teaching profession for a period of four years, I have gained the experience on how to give comprehensive answers to students’ questions.
