About me:

My name is Maison Nteetu. I live in Africa, Kenya to be specific.I had a B+ (a third grade) in High School and a degree holder in Bachelor of Science in Statistics and Programming at Kenyatta University in Kenya. I am skilled in data analysis tools, that is, IBM SPSS, Excel, R programming and Stata. I am always flexible and able to learn new skills and especially programming languages. I am comfortable with Java, C++, PHP, HTML and Javascript on the programming side. I am currently working with Portland Cement Company at a data Center department.
In the statistic field, I am proficient in data collection, ananlysis and interpretation. Completion of research papers gave me good experience in research writing and reporting. On my first paper with the title "Effects of mobile phones on students' performance at the university", it exposed me to data collection through questionnaires, analysis using SPSS and interpretation of the outcomes.
Programming is the part i like most. I am passionate about this and I have always desired to learn new languages, skills and be a problem solver on computers. I can comfortable program in Java, C++ and HTML web designing, with my new projects on the way. I am working on a website for agricultural products produced in my village for a wide market. I am still learning Android programming for applications development.
I created a blog on female genital mutilation, where I created awareness on effects of Female Genital Mutilation. I was also posting on a community blog on agriculture fiel. Writing of these articles on the two blogs helped me to develop writing skills.
Currently at Portland Cement Company, I update a worksheet with information on the whole production process, that is, from raw materials entering the company, machine status during the production process and final products produced.
I have worked as an online tutor too. I get assignments on various topics and I always make sure they are done in time and the right way. I have got much experience in completing assignments and I know what exactly students will require from me.
Accuracy, keeping time and work obedience are my best virtues. My anxiety to know keeps me in track. I rarely miss my set goals. I have confidence in approaching every problem looking for solutions.
