I have also tutored essay writing for students from middle grades to university level. I taught English as a foreign language for one year at a private English academy in Iksan, South Korea. My students aged from 3-15, all in separate classes of course. As an EFL teacher, I learned how to measure student competency in reading, writing, listening, and speaking, as well as how to teach each category. I edited student writing for mechanical errors, punctuation, flow, and many other points. It was my job to keep every student up to speed on the school curriculum. I helped prepare some students for their high school entry English exams. For the past year I have worked as a copywriter, perfecting my writing skills. I also wrote through college, first for a two-page newsletter, then later on in the school newspaper 'The East Carolinian.' For TEC I was a features reporter, interviewing people and researching my assignment before composing an engaging article.
