I'm a 37-year-old teacher in New York City. I love my job and work hard to make learning fun and interesting for my students.
My background:

Studied Education and Psychology at the University of Louisiana
Graduated with high honors
Taught English in Japan for a semester

My teaching approach:

Create engaging lesson plans
Give each student personal attention
Use technology to make learning exciting
Help students think critically and be creative

My special talent:
I'm known for my "Living History" lessons. I dress up my classroom (and myself!) to look like different times in history. This helps my students really understand and remember what they're learning.
When I'm not teaching:

I explore New York City's museums and cultural events
I take classes to become an even better teacher
