1. Introduction

Visiting the slums and seeing how the people live there, heaps of garbage in close proximity to the dwelling points, seeing sewerage water streaming just in front of doors and the children making this water as their playing items. It can make one wonder if there is a state government or are there people who are concerned about the tribulations which other people in this part of the globe are undergoing.

Today, I urge all the personalities including all forms of government, whether it is political and religious such as church leaders and the people of these communities and counties, it’s time to embrace the global citizenship education as well as its precepts so as to ensure that the vulnerable citizens of these communities can be effectively helped

  1. I will be explaining the importance of visiting child orphanages

  2. I will explain how to embrace global citizenship (Falk, 1993)

  3. I will be enlightening people on the critical role they can play at a personal level

a) The significance of visiting orphanages

  1. The visit allows us to identify the different challenges which are present in the different parts of the world

  2. We can assess the level of government assistance and therefore the intake which an individual should undertake.

b) Importance of embracing global citizenship

  1. Help in identification with the global background so as to create a better platform for assisting vulnerable communities

  2. To be part of a global body which on whose premise you will champion for the global assistance

  3. To find a platform where we one in collaboration with other people can solicit funds to assist in empowering the vulnerable

  4. To be part of a global body this will champion for the rectification of global issues like the global warming.

  5. To foster global plans this will ensure that there are peaceful coexistences between the world's populace.

a) The roles of the people at their respective levels

  1. Church leaders to incorporate the outreach programs which will ensure that their contributions are directed to the needy

  2. Political leaders to consider an increased and considerable allocation to the vulnerable people

  3. Proper improvements in waste disposals by the governments

  4. Individuals can also support the vulnerable personalities with basic needs, for example, an extra cloth, blankets, food and other monetary requirements.

  5. One can empower personalities living in slum areas so as to be imbued with the know-how on the best income generating options.
