June 20st: Debate: Should We Adopt FDR’s Second Bill of Rights?
In addition to participation in the debate, students are expected to write a “retirement speech” that will be given by one of their business associates on the eve of their own retirement as the future CEO of a Fortune 500 company, the future CEO of a major non-profit company, or the future head of a government agency. Students who are unable to attend the June 20th debate, must furnish both a pro and con position paper, thus taking both their own and the “devil’s advocate” side in the debate.
