Select four people currently in the media and discuss their exertion of one of the sources of power. Students must cover all four of the sources of power discussed on page 263 of your textbook. Apply only one source of power to each of the four people selected. A 200-250 word response must be posted to the discussion forum. The post must be submitted by Wednesday at midnight. Introduction

Media Force is typical and powerful, as in the media mostly can control to some degree that brains of pursuers or viewers, however not straightforwardly their activities. Sources of Power

There are four different sources of power which associated with the person in the media which are as under:-

Personality and Individual Differences

Lester Holt is that person whose source of power is differences from others and that he has shown the president debate where he does his work without any hesitation. While he was doing debate, it was crucial for him to ask the right question at the right time and he did so on a platform of president’s debate.

Position based Power
Samantha Bee had known for his communication style and making a comedy of different persons. She was in such a position with her communication style that now she is making fun of candidate of the president’s elections (Dicker, 2016).

Relationship Based Power

Trevor Noah is that person of media who used to use his power and show the audience news by refereeing different incident and comments of the political individuals and making fun of them. Recently, he used the Trump comment and laughed at him (McDermott, 2016).

Contextual Power

Roger Ailes is currently worked for the Fox News which is one of the largest networks of the media. He is the person who made the Fox News number one in the press. He negotiates with the politics and shows his audience what they want to see.

Conclusion

The potential for political impact is the thing that the vast majority consider when they discuss the force of the media. The media industry is experiencing a combination process. Press direction includes issues that are not present in different businesses. The strength of a press organization relies on upon what number of natives gets their administrative data from news sources possessed by that body. If possession is exceptionally divided, no individual media proprietor can apply a huge impact on voters. So different persons in the press had different powers, and they came in the different category.
