  • Read the business case given to you (in class) and answer the questions below.

  • Provide your responses on a word document and include your calculations in the document.

  • Include a cover page with your name on it. Be professional!

  • You can work in teams of 2.


1. Develop an MPS/ATP schedule based on the forecast and order data provided. Use the MPS/ATP table structure for your calculations. Describe how MPS/ATP would be beneficial in the situation mentioned in the case.


2. Develop a rough-cut capacity plan based on the MPS schedule and the data provided. Use a table structure for the capacity plan.


3. What are some of the issues you notice based on the two plans that you have developed? How would you tackle these issues? If you were to tweak your production schedule to work around some of the constraints, how would you do that? Explain and provide ample justification.
