(Answer Number 1) BY Jaquisha

Each dimension of the CPI assessment’s four main categories consists of differences among each other and the proponents of each dimension are referred to below:

1. Extraversion is characterized by an individual’s tendency to draw energy from stimulated interpersonal activity which tends to give the individual joy. A difference between a high scorer is that, this person is “talkative” versus the low score being “reserved.”

2. Openness frequently relates to traits such as curiosity, imagination and intelligences. Those who score high are described as having a varying range of interests, creative and insightful, are just a few traits. Thus, the low scorer, on the other hand, is described as shallow, unanalytical, and lacking in imagination.

3. Agreeableness includes such traits as kindness, likability and courteousness. High scoring individuals are interested in helping others and behave in prosocial ways. Those that do score low, are uncooperative, disagree, are unfriendly, selfish, hostile and egocentric.

4. Conscientiousness refers to the cluster of traits relating to order, prudence, impulse control, and achievement. Individuals who happen to score high, possess personality traits like careful planning, delaying gratification, following rules and norms. Individuals scoring low are often disorganized, irresponsible, weak-willed and undependable.

The above information will be a very valuable resource for a coach to have. As one could use the categories personality dimensions in combination to create a composite personality characteristic in predicting how the individual will interact with others within an organization when deciding to hire.
