Introduction

Trillo Apparel Company (TAC) focuses on expanding its manufacturing and shipping facility to the District 4-East. The strategic development of the company ensures that it reaches the goals of becoming a global force of development regarding its products and the goods it offers the market. The situation sees the description of different parts of the project that require prioritization.

The Project Objective

Trillo Apparel Company plans to have an extra warehouse that supports its manufacturing and shipping processes ten miles from its existing facility. This means that it has to move its new operations to a new district. The objective of the project is to enable the company to deal eliminate the outgrowing production processes found in District 4 facility. The facility has to be moved further from the current location to allow it to have room for expansion and to meet additional needs of its customers and its operations.

Despite the aspect of expanding to new areas, it means that it leaves the existing facility with some inefficiencies. The project also looks into the current facility regarding ensuring that it goes through renovations. The objective of the project is also to provide that TAC works with a specific timeframe in its development phase. Time is the main factor that determines the level and the amount of resources used to initiate development.

The Company’s Deliverables

When it comes to the deliverables, the company has several of them. Among them include the expansion of the company to ten miles from its existing facility. The company has to build a new facility within a specific period. The period consists of four months. It also has to focus on renovating its existing facility to continue serving the needs of its current customers. The other deliverable is to balance between operational levels and the satisfaction of its customers (Hu, Cui, & Demeulemeester, 2015). Another main deliverable is to ensure that all the essential factors in the project are adhered to concerning challenges. TAC has to ensure that it acquires all the permits and regulations while trying to establish the various issues involved in the project. It is crucial for the company to factor in the contractors and all the stakeholders attached to the development of the project.

Milestones in the Project

Milestones are used to monitor the progress of a project. It ensures that the various activities in a project are handled properly and within the appropriate timeframe. The weekly timeframe for the milestones includes Monday to Saturday. The first milestone includes booking the contractors in advance to enable them to participate in the project. The second milestone includes gaining permits and schedules from county and city inspections. Inspections and permitting determine the progress of the project. Without it, it becomes hard to meet the various deliverables associated with the project. Another milestone includes inspections related to plumbing and electrical works. The last milestone includes the construction of the product floor.

Technical Requirements

When it comes to the technical requirements, it is essential to focus on the logistical work associated with the project (Marcelino-Sádaba, Pérez-Ezcurdia, Lazcano, & Villanueva, 2014). Technical requirements include focusing on developing the floor of the production. The plumbing and the electricals are essential in ensuring that the warehouse works in the right manner. This means hiring the best skills and expertise in dealing with the production process of the company. It involves machinery that is used to enhance development in the company’s environment. It enables the company to run in the best way possible. Another essential technical requirement is to identify the land that will be possible to influence the expansion of the company.

Limits and Exclusions

In the case of the TAC, the limitations may include time. Time is an essential factor to consider in the development of a project. It is the one that is used to determine the resources injected in the project. The stakeholders is another critical factor. Despite the company having a vast number of employees, the new facility will require additional employees to run its operations and efficiency (Nguyen & Watanabe, 2017). The invested funds may either be applicable or not when it comes to developing the operations of the company.

Reviews the Customers

The customers are going to increase because of the increase in the operations of the company (Garg, Rahman, & Qureshi, 2014). Customers have to be satisfied concerning the products and services provided by TAC. It is crucial to note that the customers have to grow regarding the benefits they will receive. The situation means taking a central in ensuring that the manufactured products will increase concerning quality and their numbers.

Conclusion

As an apparel design and production company, TAC has come a long way regarding initiating developmental phases for its warehouse. The warehouse provides the company with enough room to ensure enough shipping and production processes. The project requires the introduction and implementation of an innovative renovation to provide successful ways of dealing with the district’s needs. It is through the project that the company plans to acquire operational efficiency and effectiveness.
