Al Amerat Leachate Treatment Plant Process Overview 1. Feed Biology 2. Ultrafiltration • Very high quality separation of the bacteria from filtrated water. Process Overview 1. Reverse Osmosis • Polishing of effluent after biological treatment • Very high permeate quality: water recycling / reuse for process water, irrigation etc. • For the removal of the remaining non -biodegradable COD, maximal reduction of TN/NO3 -N/NH4 -N and most of the dissolved salts. 5. Dewatering • Minimize excess of sludge powder 6.
