Individual Project One

Review of Section Two

Requirements Elicitation

At the start of the requirement phase of the project is just that the beginning of all involved in the discussion of requirements by the business, stakeholders, IT personnel, fellow project designers, vendors, finance personnel, and those personnel that take on different sections of the project to bring it all together. To start out have a five to ten questionnaire to bring the ideas to light. Question one: What problems/issues does this project solve. Granted you are not formulating a solution to an existing problem you are improving a viable system to have greater performance and student satisfaction, (Cited: Retrieved from https://bridging-the-gap.com, © 2019). This is the point of start-up to be asking all questions as to problem solving by asking all the right questions. To put it bluntly, what opportunities can come about from this project and how it will benefit the students/instructors at the university. Another source for this question would be a book by Donald C Gause and Gerald M Weinberg, © paper back March 1, 1990, “Are Your Lights ON, How to figure out what the problem really is.” (Retrieved from https://www.amazon.com, book listings)

Question Two: If anything, what does the team have for the solution to look like. The soul purpose of the solution is to make the experience for instructors, online students, existing students and future students fun but informative. The experience should have a purpose of ease of access, functionality, reliability, structurally sound, maneuverability from one screen to the next and accessibility on many different formats, (tablet, iPad, cell phone, laptop and computer).

Evaluation of the project comes with just a few questions. 1.) What will it cost to implement the project, 2) Will this project solve those issues and make greater improvements for all? 3) What are the risk factors? With risks comes issues of side effects, if the risks cause problems, will the project be on time? If the risks are minimum will the implementation perform as needed by the university.
