M8D1: Sharing Your Final PowerPoint Presentation

No unread replies. No replies.

Module 8

In order for you to have time to complete the Final PowerPoint project to the very best of your ability, there will be only one discussion this week, in which you will share your draft PowerPoint presentation with the class. Write your "speech" -- the words you would say while the slides are running -- as Notes on your individual slides. Your presentation must be posted to the Module 8 discussion board by 11:59 PM Wednesday so that others have an opportunity to review and discuss your work.
It is always nice to see what our peers have created. This discussion activity is set up to share your projects. You can see what your peers did over the last two weeks, as well as share your own hard work.

Begin by writing a 250–word post on what you learned by creating your presentation and how you plan to complete the project so that the slides enhance what you will be saying. Attach your PowerPoint to your initial post.

Once you have posted to the forum, you are to read two or more of your peers’ submissions. Respond to your peers by stating what you think they did particularly well in their PPT presentations and one thing that you think each of them might improve upon by Sunday at 11:59 PM. Please remember that in your responses you are to take the role of a critical friend, so please be sure to provide constructive criticism, and do so in a supportive way.

Evaluation Criteria

Always read the instructions (prompt) for the Discussion you are completing, as specifications for length, citations, number of responses, etc. may vary from the general guidelines below:

Your initial post should be at least 250 words and must substantively and originally respond to the discussion prompt, integrating the assigned readings from the module as specified, with proper APA (Links to an external site.)Links to an external site. style formatting.
