Case Assignment

Address the following:

Describe the DHS mission area “Prevent terrorism and enhancing security”

Considering the base simulation in Module 1 Case and SLP, discuss how this simulation can be extended by enhancing the mission area for “Prevent terrorism and enhancing security.” (Hint: Compare to a current Emergency Operations Plan. Some scenario examples in this area include an active shooter, weapons of mass destruction, and conventional weapons.)

Include references to some recent terrorism examples and the impact upon the people, community, or region.
