Case Assignment Overview

Module 3 covers the DHS mission area “Safeguard and secure cyberspace.”

Address the following:

Describe the DHS mission area “Safeguard and secure cyberspace.”

Considering the base simulation in Module 1 and 2 Case and SLP, discuss how this simulation can be extended by enhancing the mission area for “Safeguard and secure cyberspace.” (Hint: Compare to a current Emergency Operations Plan. Some scenario examples in this area include overwhelming cyber issues on resources, an organized cyber attack, or a computer virus.)

Include references to some recent cybersecurity examples and the impact upon the people, community, or region.
