Introduction
Technology assumes a crucial role when it comes to management. The modern businesses have integrated their management systems with technology ensuring that there is effectiveness in operations. Research indicates that 90% of managers utilize modern technology in their management activities. The basic truth is that nothing can be achieved in an organization without the existence of a good management system. Management has been simplified and made more effective through the utilization of the modern technology. Managers can now achieve significant success in their operations through the application of the modern technology in meeting the basic managerial functions. The paper focuses on a literature review and a literature map on the topic of impacts of technology on management.

The similarities and differences, and gaps from the articles
From the articles, it is evident that most of the authors used common mythologies in coming up with their studies. The authors mostly used case studies in coming up with the research findings. It is crucial knowing that case studies have their merits and demerits when it comes to effective data collection. From the literature review, it is evident that not most of the authors who extended their studies to various parts of the world or industries. The studies were mostly limited to specific industries in specific countries. Authors should make efforts to augment their research to other industries as this is crucial in reliability and validity of research. The methods applied by the researchers were common except for some specific authors. From the literature review, the authors who used a different approach in their research were noted. It is clear that there are no major differences in the research conducted by the authors as the approaches to the research and findings were almost similar. The major differences aroused from the interpretation of the research findings and the depth of the research as a whole.
