Company: Boeing Analysis framework: PESTEL Analysis
Overview: This individual assignment requires you to conduct independent research of the company selected by your ‘Group Project’ team. For example, if your Group Project team chose to study Amazon, then this assignment should reflect an analysis of Amazon. Your paper should reflect your own original research, content and sources.
Instructions:
1. Choose one of the three external analysis frameworks, A) PESTEL, B) Porter’s Five Forces, or C) Strategic Group Map and prepare an analysis of your Group Project’s company using your selected framework.
2. Using your analysis, your paper should address the following for your chosen framework;
PESTEL: What factors have you identified that may,
a. create the most compelling opportunities for the company? Why?
b. represent most significant potential threats to the company? Why?
3. Your paper should include the following:
• Introduction: a concise introduction of the company, the selected framework and the paper’s purpose.
• Analysis: a representative analysis using your chosen framework or model.
• Synthesis: address the items expressed in instruction 2 (above) and offer an evaluation/assessment based on your analysis and/or facts and evidence from original sources. Formatting: Your paper’s content should be in Microsoft Word and not longer than two pages. There is no penalty for including matrices, graphs, bullet lists reflective of the selected framework/model or a bibliography on extra pages.
• Use default MS Word margins (1”) and Times, Times New Roman, Cambria or Arial font. Font size shall be 11 or 12 point. Line spacing shall not be greater than 1.15. Single-spaced is OK.
• Tables, charts and/or graphs shall not have a height greater than one-third the height of the page (~3 ¾ inches). If this size restriction renders the table, chart or graph difficult to read then adding an additional page(s), as an appendix, is appropriate and will incur no penalty.

Concisely introduces the company, the framework/model and purpose
Analysis
The appropriate framework (matrix, graph, or content) is present and obviously reflects the selected framework/model. Identifies observable evidence to justify/corroborate each observation.
Synthesis
The evaluation/assessment of the analysis is wholly reliant on the observations and evidence presented in the analysis. Assessments are explicitly based in framework/model-specific criteria.
Accuracy and adherence
Findings or recommendations are accurate and aligned with the selected framework/model. Following assignment instruction.
Writing mechanics
Paper is written in the active voice and is clearly expressed. Writing reflects paragraph and sentence organization and expression articulates ideas clearly. Exhibits formal writing format and conventions.
