Duty description

I volunteered to take part in cleaning the park from which we had a mentoring session for the youths the following week (Cycyota, Ferrante & Schroeder, 2016). We worked in a group of twelve people with other colleagues. We collected the garbage that was at that park, slashed the tall grass and cleared the bushes all around.

I participated in the mentorship program, whereby I trained the students on the activities that our donation distribution center does. I also encouraged them to be part of the events through donating clothes and other things that they do not need so that they can be given to the needy. I was part of a mentorship team.

I volunteered to do some office work whereby I wrote letters to different organizational stakeholders regarding the running of the organization as well as planning various activities (Ariza‐Montes, Roldán‐Salgueiro & Leal‐Rodríguez, 2015). I was working alone.

I joined the community-based health organization to host a blood drive, whereby I worked towards promoting the event. I also encouraged the community members to donate blood during the event. I worked amongst other staffs in a team.

I oversaw the collection of donations. I was in the donation collection department, where I registered all the gifts received on this particular day. The things collected were to be extended to the needy families and children homes in a week.

I assisted the event organizers in planning the fundraising event that was to be held the next month. I suggested venues that I thought would be appropriate to hold the event (van Schie.et.al, 2018).
