-Do not leave comments or directions on work when submitting for grading.

-Your references themselves will need to be in full APA formatting, as this is what will be used throughout your program as a whole.

-Include a title page on all APA formatted assignments; this is most easily achieved by using the templates available in the Student Success Center.

-In GCU courses ensure that the date is included on the title page.

-Include the title on the first content page, centered.

-Please review the information available https://owl.english.purdue.edu/owl/resource/560/01/ for clarification on correct formatting for your running head.

-Per the provided template, you are to list your references in full APA formatting, followed by the annotation.

-List references alphabetically, even when annotating.

-Authors are listed Last Name, First Initial. Smith, J. (2016)….

-Keep the same font color, size and style throughout.

-Times New Roman 12, black, is the only font to be used; this includes all content and running head.

-Do not bold any areas.

-Double-space all content.

-If a reference has areas coming up in CAPSLOCK, adjust it manually.

-Capitalize the first letter of journal title, and when applicable the first word after a colon; all other words are not capitalized excluding proper nouns.

-Italicize journal titles.

-Indent all paragraphs.

-Left-align the first line of each reference to “0”, and indent all lines after the first ½ inch.

Fill all lines with content. You will want to break up your links or information in such a manner that it is the full first line, full second line at ½ inch indentation, etc.

-Do not allow for blank content pages after your content has ended, or in between content.

-Each annotation was meant to be 150-200 words.

-In annotating you are paraphrasing; do not quote any areas.
