About the current debate, technology is more influential than globalization because it is the primary driver of its counterpart, and without it, there would be stagnation of the latter. First, globalization focuses on establishing the hurdles and opportunities for goods and services in the broader commercial setup, thus facilitating the interdependence among the companies and local markets (Hitt, 2013). This concept enables companies like Netflix and affiliates to engage in strategic management processes towards impacting the global market (Garrett, 2017). However, technology influences the life of a specific person, group of people or companies who want to connect regardless of their physical location. This phenomenon succeeds through the development of telecommunication gadgets such as mobile phones, televisions, radios, computer software applications, and other crucial advanced utilities.

Reputable global business engines such as Netflix could benefit from the I/O Model of Above-Average Returns by examining external forces creating dominate influences on its strategic actions. The firm could assess the external environment and create competitive advantages through information comparability (Garrett, 2017). The company could study and understand the strategies of its main competitor, such as Apple, thus renovate it and build a substantial impact on the market segment. Netflix could also ensure that its strategy implementation resources are mobile. At the same time, the company decision-makers must be rational and committed to taking action in the interest of the company. The company should nurture the relevant skills and assets for strategy implementation. This model would enhance quality services and product, strategic pricing strategy, and fact service delivery (Hitt, 2013). The model would help to identify the needs of the clients concerning their position in the market segments courtesy of the consumer feedback element.
