The publicly traded company that I would choose for my client is Procter & Gamble (P&G). P&G derived its name from William Procter and James Gamble who founded the company in 1837. P&G is a global organization with operations in Americas, Europe, Africa, Middle East, Asia, and Pacific. The company has dominated in several categories of consumer products which makes it an ideal company to invest in due the large market share. The company restructure in 2014 so as to concentrate on the main products that produced 95 percent of the company profit. The company dropped 100 brands and remained with only 65 brands. Following the reconstruction, the company has been experiencing a decline in total revenue collection as well as profitability. However, the company is still a suitable target for investment because makes a good profit which amounted to $3.897 billion in year 2019.

Furthermore, the company has an employee population of ninety-seven thousand employees which indicates its contribution in helping people all over the world has a source of livelihood. It lays great focus on areas it can create the most valuable benefit and positive impact such as innovations to reduce waste, preservation of resources and finding renewable solutions.

My client is relatively young and seeks to invest in a profitable and a going concern company. She has some savings that she has accumulates for about 10 years. She is a risk taker and wants to invest in a stock that would promise relatives high returns in the next ten years. Therefore, P&G is a suitable investment venture for my client because the company has been in existence since 1837 and is spread all over the world. This shows that the company is not likely o end its operations soon. The company has a market dominance in consumer products which shows that it has a competitive advantage over other firms because it deals with products that are like basic necessities to people.
