For this discussion, I have selected Windows Operating systems (OS)  and Linux OS. Both of the systems have specific backups and recovery methods. The different Operating system uses different backup and recovery methods. First let's see the backup and recovery methods used in windows, and the next backup and recovery methods that are used in Linux Operating System. In the end, I have also discussed how backup and recovery vary in these two.

Backup and recovery in Windows Operating System: Some of the methods used here for backup and recovery are File-level backup and recovery, Full System Backup and Restore with MSP360. File-level backup and recovery are straightforward. Here for backup we save the file and for recovery we pick the file we require and recover it. MSP360 offers a quick and straightforward backup and reestablish process for the two Windows desktop and Windows Server. This method permits full system backup and crisis recovery, Flexible Retention and Recovery, and Compression and Encryption.

Backup and recovery in Linux Operating System: Some of the methods used here for backup and recovery are full backups and Network backups.
