This is because Starbucks achieved its intended target of increasing its revenue. The firm had amassed revenue of more than $ 2.6 billion by 2010 which was made possible by the changes implemented by the top-management.

Starbucks utilized Kotter’s eight-step change management to implement its desired change. This strategy has been proven multiple times to be effective in achieving desired results and hence, the firm was justified in applying it. Additionally, the company used appropriate tactics of communication in the entire change process. As a result, everyone was effectively involved in the process and was aware of the specific role to play to achieve set goals.
