The goal is to have you reflect deeply on what you have learned and experienced in the class. What value did you derive, what lessons did you learn, and/or what realizations did you come to because of this class? How can you use what have you learned? What questions did it bring up? What questions remain unanswered? What are your Top 10 concepts/tools/lessons learned that you would take away from the course? Did the professor enrich your learning experience? If so, how? What suggestions would you have for this course in the future? The final reflective paper is typically 5 pages in length.

Basic information about this course.

1, This is an mgmt. course.

2. This course contains a lot of tasks. As a Reflective Paper, you could talk more about what I did and at least mention the following task I did before.

1. Start With Why Book Review Project:

(Read the entire Start With Why book and present to me the top three (3) lessons learned from your perspective. Tell why those are the three most important takeaways from the book and discuss whether you think this book is something every business leader should read. Lastly, tie in your three lessons with real world applications on your business/career to-date. Must be 3-5 pages, typed.)

I have already posted my research.

2 Article Summaries

(The goal is to summarize the key concepts and learning points from each article that should be “taken away” and remembered for future use. For most articles, this requires approximately 1/2 page to 1-page written summary of the key concepts and learning points. The writing should be your own words and not a repeat of the article.)

I have already posted some my summaries.

3 Topic Presentation

(In groups of 4-5 students, you'll be assigned a topic to research and present verbally in the assigned class session. Groups will be formed by session 2 and topic assigned by the professor. The topic presentation should utilize visual aids and handouts as appropriate. The student team must make an effort to through present information in a clear, concise and relevent manner as it relates to the assigned topic. Student teams should plan to present for 20-25 minutes allowing for 15-20 minutes of follow up Q &A discussion.)

I have already posted my presentations’ outline.

4. Business Owner Interview

(For this project your group will identify a business owner and do an in-person interview with them to find out what their experience is in managing a business. Focus less on how they got started and more on the day-to-day management aspect and wheter it aligns with their business strategy. What is their business strategy? (do they even have one?) What challenges do they face and how do they address them? What are the biggest mistakes they have made in leading the company? What are the best practices they use to be successful in managing the company?)

I have already posted my ppt draft for this.

5. Movie Night project (This involves a class session where your student team will design a lesson centered on themes discussed in MGMT. chose a business movie or documentary, design a lesson plan

I have already posted my assignment for this project.

6. We also participate in weekly group discussions as participation point. The group discussions are conducted through comments and feedback on other students’ speeches and assignments on the website.

The above is probably all the content of this semester

I also posted the ppts of this course.
