This is because of the progress that the company has in its country of origin and the impacts that it has on a global scale. Qantas has the largest fleet size of airplanes in Australia. The company would also like to improve its services to the clientele. This is to be done through the improvement of the quality of services that are offered to the clients and the establishment of new travel networks in the international scope. Every company around the world yearns to expand its markets into other countries. This is also the desire of Qantas airlines. However, various barriers are being faced by Qantas Airways in the execution of the strategies that are yet to be implemented. This challenges inconveniencing the company because they bring about delays in the implementations of the company's growth and prosperity. Because of this reason, this paper is going to look into the challenges and the impacts that they have on the company's growth.

Being an analytic specialist, I have been hired by the company's management to analyze the situation and help the company understand the challenges it is facing so that the organization's leadership can come up with a good idea of how it can be able to overcome the challenges at hand. This paper is going to provide a report that will help the company understand its current situation for the sake of shedding light on what should be done to overcome the challenges that Qantas airlines are facing concerning its development.

Qantas Airways Projects

As mentioned in the previous text, Qantas Airways is on the verge of an expansion in terms of airline coverage and the quality of services that are offered by the company. The company would like to see through an increased network in its international destinations as well as the company's worldwide network. Although the company has managed to get clearings with the countries that it would like to increase its operations on, there are going to be delays in the launch of the company's operations in the international air network because of the air transport networks across the globe because of the current air travel burns in many countries. There is hope that the company will be able to lift its clients into international destinations by the end of July. This is according to the company's speculations that air travel bans in many countries may be lifted because of the crumbling worldwide economy that is facing the whole world. According to the company's database, the company's management has suspended the flights to international networks. " All scheduled international flights by Qantas and Jetstar, except for flights between Australia and New Zealand, are suspended due to government restrictions until at least the end of July 2020. ("Qantas international network changes," 2020)

The company would also like to improve the quality of the services that are delivered to the company's clients. These services are intended to be done through the upgrade of the company's VIP lounges in the airplanes that carry passengers from place to place. The VIP lounges that would like to be upgraded are in the aero plane's first class. The upgrading of the VIP lounges in the airplanes is more likely to begin three months after the company has resumed its international flights. The project is most likely going to take one year until it has been completed.

There are, however, various things that need to be done so that the company's projects can be executed by the speculated timeframe. This is because of the multiple challenges that are being faced by the company and the implementation of the strategies that the company's management has.

Processes that need to be accomplished for the execution of the company's projects

They are looking into other international markets and tourist destinations in many other countries. There is a high demand for Qantas services in many European countries and America. Besides these countries, there are countries in Asia that the company has managed to build its clientele through the marketing strategies that the company has. Although the group has managed to clear its airlines in the countries that it would like to have its operations in the global market, there is going to be a delay in the project because of various complications that have been happening recently. There is the Covid-19 virus that has become a threat to the world. Because of the infection, many airlines and other international businesses have been compromised because of the air travel bans that have been initiated by many countries around the world.

In the case of upgrading the VIP lounges in the airplanes, the company will do that one it has enough money to begin and complete the project. This is because the virus that has hit the world lately poses financial problems to many companies and businesses around the world. In that case, the company has also suffered its fair share of the losses being faced by the industry, and it might hurt more. Dean Donovan, a writer in Forbes magazine, suggests that "The world's commercial airlines and other aviation businesses face significant financial stress and perhaps bankruptcy in the coming months from the unprecedented, unexpected, and broad shutdown of travel due to the rapid spread of Covid-19." (Donovan, 2020)

Besides the current challenge that poses a drawback in the company's projects, other issues are also a significant challenge to the development of the company's projects that are within the organization. These issues are often faced by many organizations around the world, and they are part of the processes that need to be done before the company can be in a position to execute them. Without them being addressed, there is a likeliness that the company could fail to implement some of its current and future projects.

Challenges in the development of the company's projects

Various challenges can be said to be the barriers to the execution of the company's projects. These barriers have been within the company's internal environment as well as the external environment. These barriers to the company's development can be dealt with by the company's management because they are part of the strategic execution of the company's projects.

One of the barriers that stand against the execution of projects in companies is communication within the company. Poor communication within the company can be a danger to the implementation of the company's projects because, without effective communication, the company will not be in a capacity to achieve the desired results. This can be due to poor communication of the company's vision. When the employees of the company fail to understand the company's vision, there is the likeliness that they will not be able to meet the organization's objectives.

The other challenge that is a barrier to development and the implementation of the companies is poor priorities that are done by the company's management. "Management barrier due to poor priorities, 85% of the executive teams spend less than 1 hour per month discussing strategy." (Mugisa, 2019)

The time that is spent by the company's management, discussing a single strategy can be used by the administration to do other essential things. This can be the research of the barriers that the project might face or the state of the market that the company would like to venture into.

Conclusion

Various things need to be done by the company. This is related to the projects that the company would like to execute. There will be delays in the implementation of the company's strategies because of the issues that have been discussed herein. The internal challenges that are obstacles to the execution of the company's projects can be dealt with by the company's management. The other factors that are due to the pandemic that is faced by the world depend on the international outcomes of how the world is prepared to face the pandemic.
