Communication is paramount among stakeholders. The most important thing is to establish communication channels that help stakeholders maintain a certain level of communication. The healthcare sector has advanced by a significant percentage, and that is why technological channels of communication are prioritized. Mobile communication channels will be the primary channels of communication. In this respect, calls and short message services will be utilized as crucial communication (Mennemeyer, Menachemi, Rahurkar, & Ford, 2016). The reason for selecting mobile communication channels as primary communication channels is that every modern person uses a mobile phone. Therefore, using mobile communication channels means that every person will be reached by the message. The alternative communication channel is an electronic communication channel. In this case, messages are passed across to stakeholders through the organizational system.

HITECH Act is a policy that focuses on health information technology, and that means that it has an impact on communication. Given that the modern healthcare sector has adopted communication in its technology, matters of technology directly affect an organization's communication channels. HITECH Act makes sure that healthcare organizations conform to the regulations that have been set by regulation boards. The rules and regulations of the HITECH Act influence the decision of an organization.

A nurse and nurse manager are two essential stakeholders in the healthcare sector. The communication of the two is known as subordination communication because they belong to two different ranks. Several subordination communication points could promote effective and smooth communication between the two (Adler-Milstein & Jha, 2017). The first point pertains to the promotion of respect irrespective of the organizational position. When there is respect between the two stakeholders, communication is likely to be effective. The second point pertains to the aspect of confidentiality. It is essential to protect the integrity of employees by making sure that what they share is confidential.

The first ethical consideration that influences communication with the nurse manager is responsible. Leaders have a responsibility to look after the needs of the people they lead. Therefore, when making a communication decision, they must remember their duty to the people they lead. Also, leaders are put in place to ensure that they guide the people who look up to them. A leader who fails to guide and show the way to people who look up to him or she has been unable (Samora, Blazar, Lifchez, Bal, & Drolet, 2018). From a psychological perspective, when human beings are given a responsibility, they try to demonstrate that they are worth the task by filling in the gap that might be present. With this in mind, it means that a leader must consider his or her responsibility when communicating with an employee. The second ethical consideration is the suitability of the channel of communication. In the healthcare sector, it is crucial to introduce methods of communication that can serve the purpose. A chain of transmission that employees are not conversant with is likely to derail an organization's success. It is unethical for a leader to employ communication channels that employees are not conversant with. Therefore, it becomes imperative for the nurse manager to consider communication channels that employees are conversant with.
