 They also believe that “racial minorities also have the same chance at success as majority group members” (Yancy, pg. 31) and believe that racism will go away if people turn an eye to it.  But this is not realistic as we have learned because “radical discrimination is deeply embedded in our society in many different ways, and only intentional and race-specific measures will remove its effects” (Yancy, pg. 34).
