Summary Analysis

The analysis provided give an insight on the market trend as it is attributed to our brands name and sales. The marketing exploration team to provide an objective look on the direction and confidence of this company to the customers has compiled the summary analysis.

Revenue Analysis

The data show the company has had a very successful year when it comes to revenues. Revenue statistics show the company between the Jan – Dec 2019 had a7.5% increases in revenue. Critical analysis centered in sales shows the level of inventory and sale balance and it was able to see more of it shoes locally than international the mechanism used to analyses the trend at which the company should follow is the relation between the loyal customer bases and the new designs s we offers . A look on the statistics will show that in the year 2018 we were able spend up to $1.45 billion on advertising in the united states, and a close to $3.7 billion worldwide(Nike 10k, 2019).Which has greatly helped us in retaining our position as a market leader .

The challenge comes when to keep the customers bases hooked when it comes to our marketing strategies (Nike, 2019). The strategies we have taken on focus on promoting athletes instead of show casing our product has been very effective, however our competitors have been able to similarly copy the strategies to the advantages. Analysis based of the sales data show the majority of our customers based are aged between 18 and 35. the demographic have gradually shown a systematic shift from the traditional engaging in party and having fun ,to really focusing on social issues that have affect them .

A marketing strategy that can help us boost our sales in the long run is critically using our resources in championing social causes that affect American people. A caution to this strategy is that choosing to a side in the political sphere of American politics causes a “walk out” of customers who feel sidelined (Nike 10k, 2019). . Although we have a duty to cater for our customers’ needs we also have the responsibility of using our voice and the enormous platform this company has to causes positive change. This will greatly produce great result a perfected algorithm show that our customer bases will increase by at least 15% and the shareholding price will increase by 4.5 %( Nike, 2019).

Due to the corona virus pandemic our sales have significantly dropped. to save on expense the marketing team believes that engaging in social media to show sport to those who greatly affected by the pandemic will give us great publicity that can help us ride on thorough out these years(Nike 10k, 2019). As you all know very well social media has become a great asset to us as it has allowed us to tract company reviews to give an accurate outlook on the business. Our international presence has of late been stale and this is because of the pandemics.

Our apparel division has shown an increase in sales however this year the sales is projected to significantly dropped as the pandemic has forced all sporting activities to be suspended . The Olympic which was one of our most promise markets to increases sale of our merchandise has been positioned to next year. Our projection shows that if the pandemic continues through the summer it can significantly hurt our bottom line as the summer is the period where most of our products gets a lot of attends (Nike, 2019). Let me conclude by stating that the overall projection of revenue will decrease from last year and we give an observation that limiting on spending can help the company mitigate this difficult period.

That company is the world largest manufacture of sports apparel products and it deals in sporting shoes, equipment’s and services the company has a total of 73000 employees with a international presence . Nike most prominent products is its Nike shoes, which has gained a lot of popularity over the years because of it design and comfortably (Frisch, 2008).

The company was found in 1964 by Phil knight and has grown to be a public traded company in the news York stock exchange. Phil knight is the current chairman of the corporation and john Donahue is the president and chief executive officer. Nike is best known for its aggressive campaign parting sports and has been able to market its products effectively. In the year 2019 the company reports annual revenue of $39 billion and a net income of $1.1 billion. Air Jordan is one on Nikes most recognizable products line as it has been used as fashioned statement more than sport apparel. The company uses sponsor ships to advertise itself in athletes such as basketball and soccer players. It worldwide presence has made the company one of the most recognizable brand with a brand valuation of $20billion (Frisch, 2008).
