Data Visualization and Geographic Information SystemsAs an IT manager, discuss the ways you would use the materials in Chapter 11(please find the attached ppt for chapter 11) of your textbook to commu

Now a days, the world is hastily increasing when equated with olden days. Henceforth, administrations should review and revise their business strategies on par with the consumer requirements and necessities. As the people are travelling throughout the globe for various purposes ,which provides an opportunity for additional ecological information.

The concept of data visualization helps persons in order to evaluate the empathetic data by possession in a graphical or pictorial method. There are a number of data imaging procedures which aids in empathising the data. This technique helps in examining the data in a relaxed manner and the methodology can be used for a number of arithmetic visuals. It is a pictorial representation or assessment of data in a simple manner so as to appreciate intelligence. Further, it aids in data acceptance in a symbolic manner that aids the individuals to protect their while. In the time of conception aids in mistake dipping of information, it provides a strong opinion on present information. Generally, one grants a huge quantity of data in a little space. It brands different circles of data. As the visuals present the information is found to be an unproductive method, the practice of presenting the information meditation is gaining interest quickly. The record positioning is completed accurately iin information imagining, which evades the data misrepresentation by providing a strong belief and opinion of the data by which anyone may associate with the informmation in well organized and informal mode (Sadiku et al .,2016).

A computer oriented technology that comprises of software, hardware and data that allows all types of information that includes the systematic process of collecting, handling, analysis & output display. It is intended to participate, stock and excision of information, examining and allocate the informmation to the individuals. It aids the user to produce the inquiry communications and overlook the charts and viewing the sequences of everything that is being processed. It utilizes dissimilar skills and the major issue of this is location. The system relies on information bases. Wicked font information may generate a tricky for commercial which signifies number of aspects like water courses, constructions, elevation, tress etc., Further, it utilizes numerical information as well as statistics formations also. Auto CAD is widely utilized in chart formations. The key aspect for map formation is ecological places. With a rise in expertise, the system is also altering rapidly on par with the consumer desires(Supuwiningsih et al.,2018).

As an IT manager, I wish to utilize this technology so as to refine the efficiency of the corporate by finding out top strategies in the selling space that can sustenance the concepts of data visualization and GIS. Further, I would check the latest gadgets as well as technologies in the market that increases the performance of the above systems.

Hi,

The increasing volumes of data are causing difficulties in understanding and exploring the data. The effective graphical representation of this data is known as Data Visualization. Visualization helps to represent data in different formats like line charts, pie charts, bar graphs, scatter plots, heat maps, and tag clouds. Using computer graphics and different effective colors for representing different data elements. Position, shape, and size are some data elements in spatial data visualization. Data visualizations have applications in many areas like health care, renewal energy, environmental science, fraud detection, e-commerce, customer feedback, etc.

Geographic Information system(GIS) is the system that includes hardware and software used to obtaining, handling, interpreting, and representing all forms of geographical information. Distribution of any phenomenon on earth is known as spatial distribution. Several factors describe the spatial distribution. For example, Find the clusters of customers of a business on the map. GIS describes the spatial patterns, identify the clusters, and predict the outcomes to make decisions. To accomplish these goals, We have to find out the data features, attributes, location information. The different types of data are point data, aggregated data, and continuous data. In the framework of spatial analysis, Inputs like attributes, or data features are provided to the system to visualize the data. Visualizations that are in the form of graphical representation are used to analyze the data provided for the system. These analyses are used to build useful decision models. Reference two explained the GIS using the distribution of disease over the locations.

The different applications of GIS in daily life are Mapping, Telecommunication, Urban planning, Hotspot analysis, Logistics, Disaster management, Surveying, etc. As a Manager, I use this geographic Information system built decision models in different departments like the sales department, transport department, advertising department, and customer relations department. In the sales department, We can use the data of the sales to represent and analyze the profits and losses in the different locations of the company. Region, sales in the region, a product which has more demand, a product which is not reaching the demand, differences between the demand and supply in the different regions. In the transport department, I can use these models to plan the logistics for the employees, to check the regions which are taking long time deliveries, etc. In the advertising department, We can find the locations which have less sales, and no sales to advertise the product. In the same way, we can use these models in different departments for the improvement of the business.
