The company chosen for this research is Google LLC, which came into being in 1998, founded by Larry Page and Sergey Brin (Schneider, 2019). It was formed as a part of the parent company Alphabet Incorporation. It is in the technology industry that offers cloud computing, internet, computer hardware, and software, among other services. The company provides a wide range of internet services that range from the creation of online documents, electronic mails, designing software for mobile devices, and computers and tablets (Schneider, 2019). Since it acquired Motorola Mobility, it can now design mobile hardware that is sold as digital devices. The company also has a dominant place on the web concerning video content by providing online platforms such as Google Video and YouTube, which is widely used (Google, n.d.). The email option provided by Google, Gmail, provides a private address that one can maintain and storage space where one can store documents, photos, and videos.

It also offers Google Books, where users can search for scholarly books online. Although the books are mostly accessed through purchases, the company provides a preview. The company has an agreement with the authors to pay them some amount in exchange for the shows (Google, n.d.). Other applications have been established by the company such as Google Calendar, which is used for scheduling appointments and programs, Google Talk, which allows users to communicate instantly, Google Page Creator, among others. It also has Google Docs that comprises presentation, word processor, and spreadsheet software (Google, n.d.). One of its most essential services is the Chrome web browser that is advanced and created to run multiple programs simultaneously and has become the most popular browser compared to Internet Explorer, Firefox, among others (Google, n.d.). The company has discontinued some of its services, such as Google +, which faced fierce competition from Facebook.
