Here is her email to me

Hi Daniel,

I was able to retrieve the two resources at the links you provided.  Each one is an abstract for an article, but I did not see any information from the abstracts which relates to the points cited in your thread.  Here are the points about which I am concerned:

First, United Way Worldwide meets all the 20 standards for Charity Accountability and supports a network of approximately 1,800 community-based member organizations located in more than 40 countries and territories. Supporting this organization implies that help will be given to many beneficiaries. Second, the organization is eligible to receive contributions deductible as charitable donations for federal tax purposes (Mittal & Wohn, 2019).

The Mittal & Wohn article discusses the use of charity streaming as a fundraising technique. The cited information does not appear to be supported by that article.

However, I would recommend that the law firm supports the Urgent Action Fund for Women's Human Rights because the organization qualified to get support. First, it met all the 20 standards of Charitable Accountability. Second, it had programs that supported women and LBTQI movements all over the world as opposed to which supported only 40 countries. Third, the organization had lower program expenses (De Wit & Bekkers, 2017).

The Wit & Bekkers article discusses the impact of public (i.e. government) support of charities on private charitable donations. The cited information does not appear to be supported by that article.

Before going any farther, I wanted to reach out to you for an explanation.  I would appreciate a response by Tuesday, June 21.
