The first impression is the most interesting thing when meeting new people. Researches have established that it takes seven seconds to create an impression on another person. Would you like your first impression to be memorable? Definitely yes. Even with all the world’s qualifications, it would not be easy to move ahead without the appropriate clothing. Have you observed that many of the successful people have good appearance and well dressed? Professional dressing invites opportunities for promoting oneself within an organization and even helps in building a good reputation (DeLong, Bang, & Gibson, 2019). Again, professional dressing improves an individual’s self-confidence, and with confidence, one tends to be much comfortable in new or tough situations, increasing the chances of success.

Professional dressing starts with good hygiene and grooming. Looking good begins right at the bathroom, showering regularly and brushing the teeth. However, we need to do much more than just being clean, sometimes sparing time on grooming at least weakly can offer important payoff in looks area. Plan for haircut regularly, maintain eyebrows trimmed, and ensure it is neat in case you have facial hair.

You should not compromise having or buying what fits you. Most of us have a wonderful idea of how our clothes are supposed to fit; the problem is when a good-looking clothing item is unavailable in the right size. Being selective in what you buy is worth it; not only will you appear good, but you will also receive more value for your money as the closet would not be full of clothes you do not wear.

Dry cleaning is costly, but assuming it can reasonably fit your budget, it is absolutely worth investment. It lets your clothes look their best always, some people may consider ironing as an alternative, but it is not a dry cleaner’s match, although it is also a good option to go by.

Wear a watch. Watch is the most acceptable jewelry item socially to wear, other than the wedding ring. For sure, we all have phones form which we can know the time, and watches are becoming less necessary, but there is something still nice about having it on one’s wrist. Consider a smaller and simple watch design; one does not have to necessarily purchase a Patek Philippe, whether expensive or cheap, classic simpler design looks more professional.

Taking good care of the shoes is very crucial in dressing, they say, shoes are the first thing to notice in a person, I do not know but think they could be right. The shoes should be well polished and neat and matching. Although so long as the shoes are clean, you will just look good, they can match automatically.

When wearing a tie, one should tie it correctly; it makes the person appear organized and understanding. Even in a hurried moment, one should take some time to wear the tie correctly and in proper length. Too short or too long, you will look bad. It is vital to consider nice, simple, and fitting socks without much around them. For people you wear glasses, it is always good to keep them new through maybe, changing them or replacing their frames.

In conclusion, it is good to wear clothes with solid colors and fitted blazers instead of a loose cardigan, choose a piece of jewelry, which is simpler over a trendier and for ladies can consider carrying handbag which is structured or tote, instead of the trendy alternative. Ensure the pants are correctly fitted. Dressing affects how people view and respect us; it is always good to look good.
