  1. As define by the Alexander reading, Interpretation in that of a museum is education encompassing how museums communicate their messages to the public. As well the interpretation attributes to the importance to it within the subject matter. It’s a multiplayer process. There are six principles providing important guidance for museum practice. 1. Any interpretation that doesn’t’ relate what is displayed will be sterile. 2. Information is not interpretation. Interpretation is revelation based on information. 3. Interpretation is an art in any form. 4. The main aim of interpretation is not instruction but provocation. 5. Interpretation should have a purpose to present a whole rather than a part. And 6. Interpretation addressed to children should not be a dilution of presentation to adults, bu follow a fundamentally different approach. 

  2. Museum interpretation/education encompasses how museums communicate their messages to the public. It ranges from onsite and online exhibitions to tours and programs. Therefore, it seeks to teach certain truths, to reveal meanings, to impart understanding. Thus, it has serious educational purpose. It may furnish one with strong motivation to read further, to visit places, and to seek other ways of satisfying one’s newly aroused curiosities
