Assistive Technology Laws.

 The Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act requires that all electronic and information technologies that are developed and used by any Federal government agency must be accessible to people with disabilities.  These technologies include: Websites, Video and audio tapes, Electronic books, televised programs, and any other type of med.

On the other hand this act does not apply to the private sector or to organizations that receive Federal funds.  (It does, however, apply to materials developed by those organizations for the Federal government and funded by government agencies.

                                                                                 Assistive   Technology

                     Positive:

                     Assistive technology is a great tools for children with disabilities, these devices   help children  in all areas of their life, also these devices make easy teachers, parents  in helping in students education and learn individually . These devices can be use every day to do activities and make daily routines,helping children staying on a schedule and focus in school activities , these devices are very motivating use to encourage well skills.

                     Negative:

The Assistive  technology has to be use under supervision  the teachers , parents, or an adult to keep track the plan, the purposes of these are to see if increase or decrease the number of activity to students for example:  if you are using the devices  as a reward remember not to give all the time the students. The wrong use of technology can be dangerous for children.
