POWERPOINT SLIDE FOR THIS ASSIGNMENT

ASSIGNMENT

Create a PowerPoint of an overview of your project, then record the presentation of all phases of the education project (this is different from the one used at your event, if you created one for that purpose). This will be presented as if you are in front of a group of peers explaining how your community education project was planned, developed, implemented, and how the outcomes were achieved and then how you evaluated if your goals were met.

NOTE:

I am during this project or presenting this project in a church setting. I am talking to my church members and parents of teenager that suffering from mental issues. 95% of my church thinks mental health is demonic so all they need is prayer and deliverance. I am educating them that mental health needs to be diagnosed and treated why praying for the treatment to work. So their children can have a productive life. They listen because I have a example of my own. For example, my son was experiencing all these signs and symptoms and I had no idea what was going on with him. He was 18 when he was diagnosed I just thought he was going through teenage stub. Now my son is in college playing football that he loves and coping with his diagnoses. I belief my son is having a productive life because he was diagnose early and the right treatment were given to him. I have never pray so hard in my life, I was scare, confuse and had no ideas but prays help me focus and see things differently to help my son. So my testimony will help my audiences. Since I started the project parents are willing to talk to me about their children mental health issues, no shame. The few kids in my church are also willing to talk to me, asking for resources, some want to talk to my son. One point I stress to them is do not stop praying but seek treatment with prayer. Also they shouldn’t be ashamed of their illness. My entire congregations was told not stigmatize mental illness. Africans has a way to do that. I think my goals were met because members are not ashamed to talk about their children that have mental health issues. Now they want a seminar. I am looking for someone to speak with our mental health consular in the church.
