That is why, in the field of computer science virtualization is not a new idea. In the past years, the only way that a computer scientist would create a virtual server is by designing a unique software that would be used to trick the CPU of the server into processing many virtual machines. Although for today this is different since companies such as Intel are coming up with processors that support virtual servers. (Griffith, E, 2016). Q 3 There are several types of virtualization which include the following: Application: This is where various applications are virtualized. They are delivered from the server to the device of the end-user using devices such as tablets, laptops and smartphones. Other than logging into the network using the office's computer, employees have to use their portable devices as long as there is an internet connection.

Desktop: This form of virtualization separates the environment of the desktop for physical devices and they are configured and virtual desktop infrastructure. Thus people are able to access their personal files and application on any internet-connected device from any geographical location.

Hardware: This is among the most common form of virtualization where a hypervisor is used to create virtual computer versions and operating systems. They are then consolidated into one large server thus all resources are used efficiently. Different OS can be run on one computer at once. Network: When it is implemented, all equipment for physical networking is combined into a single software-based resource. This is made successful by dividing all available bandwidth to several independent channels. They are then assigned devices and servers when required which is mainly used by large businesses to ensure their systems are always running.

Storage: this is the cheapest and easiest form of virtualization since all the physical hard drives are just compiled into one cluster. This is usable during the recovery process after a disaster since backup one a single cluster is easier.

A service provider should have adequate security to protect data and virtual instances. High initial investment: Virtualization helps organizations to reduce the cost of operations, but the initial cost is high.
