Mr. Robert Andrews,

Thank you for the opportunity to lead this branch of the Andrews Company. I am excited to start this new journey. I hope that putting my best foot forward and hard work will lead us to be a top competitor in the sensor industry. Below is the path I plan to take in order to make this happen.

R&D Performance

  • Able - keep performance the same and change as needed, since age and price are too priorities in this segment

  • Acre - keep performance the same, since customers focus for this segment being price and age

  • Adam - performance is the main focus in this segment. Increase performance but make sure it’s in accordance with customer standards due to new products being created each each.

  • Aft - performance is one of the top focuses for this segment, but not as much as Adam’s. Increase performance as I did with Adam

  • Agape - size is top focus in this segment. Only change if needed

R&D Size

  • Able - size isn’t as important. Don’t change, change if needed

  • Acre - price and age is important. Change size as needed

  • Adam - size is also a main focus in this segment. Keep size within customer standards, as the company releases a new product each year.

  • Aft - focuses on performance and reliability. Change if needed

  • Agape - in this segment, size is emphasized over performance. Keep size close to the customer standards

R&D MTBF

  • Able - MTBF(reliability) is the least important. Try to keep the MTBF low and within customer standards but no necessary

  • Acre - MTBF(reliability) is also the least important in this segment. Try to keep low and within customer standards but not a priority

  • Adam - MTBF(reliability)isn’t a top priority in this segment. Create new product but change if needed, keep within low and within range of customer standards

  • Aft - MTBF(reliability) is a top priority in this segment. Make sure the MTBF is kept with customer standards.

  • Agape - MTBF(reliability)isn’t a top priority in this segment. Keep low and within customer standards

Marketing Price

  • Keep prices as low as possible in the traditional and low end segments, for Able and Acre.

Marketing Promotional & Sales budget

  • Money will be spent reasonably, since the focus on promotion and sales aren’t too high. Our prices are lower than average. Once the leadership role is addressed, changes to either or can be revisited and changed in order to keep up with competition.

Marketing Forecasting

  • In order to forecast how much we will make, we will use a 2-3% buffer. By multiplying that but the industry demand, growth rate each year, and market share percentage, it gives us a little more product. It will allow us to see at the end of the year if we need more or less.

Production Automation

  • For Able and Acre, automate more due to automation set limits on the reposition of products

  • For Adam, Aft, and Agape, automation will be delayed due to the automation set limits

Human Resources

  • Money will be focused on employees of good quality. Spend money on training and if need be recruitment for qualified employees. Focusing on training employees in needed areas will decrease turnover rates and can lower the need for second shirt and overtime costs.

TQM

  • Will focus on continual improvement to make products of better value and at low cost

  • Spend money on necessary training for employee improvement

  • If problems arises, find the root of the problem and find the correct way to fix problem

  • Since we have lower quality products, preventing defects will be important. We will continue to improve our processes and figure out system failures.

  • Benchmarking will allow us to see how our performance is stacking up against our competitors

Finances

  • If funds are needed, we will use capital stocks and long term bonds

Dividends

  • If our cash flows at the end of the year allows us, we can pay dividends and even retire stock
