  • The association between each theoretical orientation used by Dr. Heston and the treatment intervention plans utilized in the case.

From the given case study, the association between evert theoretical orientation applied by Heston plus the treatment operation strategies used both target the background source of the disorder. For instance, Rita’s issue is considered a binge since it was contributed by many connected systems of components. These elements involve bad feelings, accurate dieting plus interests in weight plus external appearance of something. However, the two theoretical orientations applied by Dr. Heston together with the treatment operations strategies give emphasis on the way of ensuring the accuracy of the different components. This is done to offer a prolonged solution to the binge issue associated with Rita instead of targeting the bingeing specifically (Carlson, 2013).

  • A cognitive-behavioral model of the maintenance of bulimia nervosa.

Concerning the cognitive-behavioral model of the maintenance of bulimia nervosa, it is understood that it was used for a prolonged duration. For instance, it precisely focuses on the main characteristics of bulimia nervosa disease like improper compensatory characters, limitless interest in body weight, and external body appearance. The other core characteristic includes the excessive eating of foods. Generally, the process of treating stresses on how bulimia nervosa associated with the sequence of the symptoms spread themselves within the current as contested to the proximate cause why they changed in the first position.

Additionally, the framework entails twenty scheduled periods which are done every week plus they include the other three stages. Moreover, the initial stage entails psych-education which concerns weight plus the bad impacts of excessive dieting. Also, it includes removal and a lot of consumption since it helps a patient to create a normal feeding process plus a fitting timeline to control his or her weight. Nonetheless, there is the second stage that offers an emphasis on lowering the amount of weight while the formation focuses on improper dieting action plus establishing identity on impulsive to any additional excessive consumption plus purification sessions. The third stage targets the change to the maintenance drawing plus the act of stopping any failure that may occur in the future.

Furthermore, within the framework, the therapy specialist plus the client should coordinate this together to bring to an end the elements that ensure the existence of the process of binge consumption. In this, the removal of contamination is done to accomplish one’s control from these actions. Moreover, the treating process is done to one patient although it is possible to administer it through a team layout. Nevertheless, this model is associated with the strict scientific fact when assimilated to the additional present psychological treating acts give to the bulimia nervosa (DeJesse & Zelman, 2013).

  • Why Rita was reluctant to participate in Dr. Heston’s request for her to keep a record of her eating behaviors.

Rita was not active when it came to handling Dr. Heston’s asked details of her keeping the set of data concerning her consumption characters. This was due to her poor reaction from the past attempt. In this case, Rita happened to illustrate that she had at first attempted to uphold details of her consumption behavior, and the practice never assisted her to solve the issue she had. Generally, she pointed that maintaining her consumption details just made her behavior worsen because of the focus she had on the consumption action (Halmi, 2013). Generally, this indicates that the restrain associated with treatment is a mutual feature associated with eating diseases scheduled with poor reaction processes to many treatment trails. Further, very eminent persons who suffer from anorexia nervosa are the clients who normally rebut their interests of adding more weight plus the effect of the state.

  • Recommend outside providers (psychiatrists, medical doctors, nutritionists, social workers, holistic practitioners, etc.) to assist Rita in achieving her treatment goals.

Bulimia Nervosa is an excessive eating disease that Rita was found suffering from it. However, from my specialization view, I would suggest Rita see a psychiatrist plus a nutrition specialist. These two professionals will help her understand more about the two basic components of the consumption disease (Halmi, 2013). Their knowledge will show how patient’s association with feeding stuff plus the associated psychological issues. Additionally, this proper coordination between the nutrition specialist and psychiatrist will importantly assist Rite to accomplish her process of getting the best cure (DeJesse & Zelman, 2013).

Moreover, the association atween the two health specialists can be affected by treatment principles, distinct training, and unique practice regions. Furthermore, there was much force that developed when relatives and clients with chronic health and emotional states came together.

The particular responsibilities of the two professionals the nutritionist and the psychiatrist rely on the cure process principle plus the state of medical justice on the clinical surrounding. However, focusing on Rita’s situation a psychiatrist will most likely exchange data concerning her proceeding with a nutrition specialist plus debate on the distinctive stressors that probably can impact the cure procedure. Further, the nutrition specialist will assist in monitoring the medical progress and handling of Rita’s characters that are associated with feeding habits (DeJesse & Zelman, 2013).

  • The challenges and ethical issues that Dr. Heston may encounter when working collaboratively with the professionals that you recommended.

Among the difficulties that Dr. Heston can face involve the patient’s safety problems that may develop when exchanging data concerning Rita together with an additional health specialist. For example, from the “American Psychological Association Ethical Principles of Psychologists and Code of Conduct (2010),” ensuring effective privacy to patients is a basic responsibility to a psychologist. Generally, psychological professionals are expected to ensure the best standards to maintain proper privacy to patient's data plus observe that the privacy measures plus levels are controlled by regulations and created by particular experts.

However, exchanging clients' data with different health specialists can show a big problem. Moreover, counselors normally acquire knowledgeably, written acquiesce from their patients before they have attempted to exchange any of their details. To some level, this demands a lot of privacy plus sovereignty of the patient, transparency, dedication plus sufficient time.

The other issues that Heston can face involve a change in the level of profession plus education. This is because of the paraprofessionals plus experts who are included within the association who can be associated with a broad understanding plus education exercise of knowledgeable consent. Again, they ensure effective usage of patient’s data plus additionally an activity that helps to ensure that there is a consistency of the provided health care regulations.

  • How effective are the treatment interventions implemented by Dr. Heston, supporting your statements with information from the case and two to three peer-reviewed articles from the Ashford University Library.

The treatment practices introduced by Dr. Heston involved the “Cognitive-behavioral theory of the maintenance of bulimia nervosa.” The effectiveness of the method is effective because it was utilized for a prolonged duration. Again, it straightforwardly focused on the basic elements of the bulimia nervosa disease. The elements include compensatory habits, limitless interests towards body appearance and weight, plus excessive consumption of food. Moreover, this treating practice stress more on how the disorder is associated with the symptoms changes propagate themselves within the current as obstructed to the reason as to why they grew at first.

Additionally, the health specialist illustrates the treatment practice and indicated that a few procedures are required to help lower Rita’s desire to the habit of excessive consumption of food. Amid the different procedures is the practice of changing the eating habit to a level that includes reduced behavior plus physical deviating practices (Carlson, 2013).

Most importantly, the process introduced by Heston was appropriate when offering Rita’s treatment because of the eating disease she was diagnosed with. It was effective since after the second period of treatment the patient explained her health improvement. Again, Rita communicated about her practice of taking lunch each day and this was different from before when she would not take lunch during some days. Through the various reports given concerning the treatment process, it is clear that it was effective since it offered positive outcomes after each session Rita underwent it.

  • The treatment interventions would be appropriate in this case.

On the other side, the other treatment method that can be suitable in such a situation is Interpersonal therapy. This treatment practice is founded on the principle that the association atween the persons and the external environment has a great impact on the field of ensuring mental wellbeing. Additionally, since the disorder Rita was diagnosed with is associated with the issues like low self-esteem to persons and anxiety, then the mentioned IPT can be helpful to handle her condition.

The other treatment practice I can suggest for Rita’s condition involve nutrition training and a healthy weight. To benefit from this health intervention, Rita must maintain an effectively planned eating schedule that can assist her to accomplish her proper nutrition, good consumption practices plus suitable weight. Generally, Rita should opt to start a weight control process that will help her achieve the best weight. Finally, dialectical behavior therapy is the last treatment method I would suggest to Rita. This is because it will assist her to do away with the bad habits she has by controlling her negative feelings.
