My topic- I need a response for the attached questions and my topic is Toxic leadership coming from supervisors and managers and the treatment of the employees.

My response

My literature review is an essential component of my dissertation. Not only does the literature review provide a foundation on which the research paper will be built, but also offers allows me to see what has been covered, to prevent the duplication of research. As the researcher, I will be able to identify areas that have been covered already and the areas that have missing gaps. In other words, a literature review helps to identify inconsistencies in the research, open areas left out by the previous researchers, and any conflicts that may be present. The research will thus focus on the areas that are missing information, increasing the relevance of the research.

I have found various sources that will be used to form a foundation for my research. These sources range from peer-reviewed journals, books, dissertations, and other peer-reviewed sources from various databases. The topics that I found to be foundational to my topic includes attributes of toxic leadership and employee mistreatment. I will also focus on the role of human resources in an organization. These sources would be foundational to my research, searching for the keywords and filtering the results to identify the most relevant sources. I will explore topics such as toxic leadership, employee mistreatment, and the role of human resources in mitigating employee mistreatment.

Her response back to me

The future has arrived! It is no longer time to say that you will identify gaps in the research; it is time to identify them! Are you seeing any so far?

Any insight into what is missing that you could add?

Here's another very key and related issue: once you think you have identified a gap, how can you prove that it is a gap?
