Discussion - Eyewitness misidentification

Why do you think eyewitness misidentification is so high in these wrongful conviction cases?

Since eyewitness testimonies are not credible, why are they still used as evidence?

If you were on the jury and the case being tried had little to no evidence other than

an eyewitness identification, what would you do?

Weekly Reflection/Reaction Paper

Reflection paper must include (1) a short reaction/reflection to the reading, highlighting its argument, major themes and your thoughts/analysis about points raised (please note, you can also use this space to engage the reading creatively through poetry or spoken word); and (2) at least three key quotes from that reading .  It is estimated that the paper will be 1-2 typed pages.

Because there are multiple readings, I do not expect you to reflect on all of them.  Choose either one reading by itself or choose a theme that runs through multiple readings.  The same goes for the quotes.
