Research Paper: Final Assignment Instructions

Overview

Being able to clearly communicate your ideas is a vital skill in the helping professions. Now that you have identified a topic, developed an outline, and chosen at least five scholarly sources, you are ready to construct your 8–10-page paper covering the topic you chose earlier this term. This paper is an opportunity to integrate ideas you’ve learned in the course with your outside research, and further develop your life coaching knowledge. As you write your paper, remember that the information you’ve gathered in research will be used to help an individual in the life coaching process, whether it is because you’ve further developed your knowledge of a skill, the process itself, ethics in referral, how to coach Biblically, or how to build a relationship with your client. Lastly, the research paper is an opportunity to demonstrate your ability to summarize and paraphrase content from your scholarly sources.
