A sustainable city is a city that is free from any form of pollution. Cities and other forms of formal settlement experience pollution of different kinds that have been reported to affect the environment negatively. This study will focus on a sustainable city by focusing on hospitality. This is because the hotel industry has dominated major towns and cities across the globe. Hotels make use of soap in their day-to-day activities (Lăzăroiu and Harrison, 2021). In most cases, the soaps used are produced from chemicals that have played a very big role in polluting the environment. In this study, a proposal will be given such that if we experience sustainable cities, new natural soaps must be produced. This will minimize the use of chemical soaps, which have largely affected the environment negatively. The study is therefore anchored on “Respect for the People”.

The proposed company aims at producing new soaps by use of natural methods. In this case, natural ingredients and components will be used in soap production. Most of the soaps produced from this method will be of great use in hotels. This will ensure that natural soaps replace artificial soaps in major towns, which are full of chemicals which have impacted the environment negatively. When water from soaps made from chemicals goes down, it contaminates the ground water (Buonomo and Warshaw, 2021). This has greatly affected the aquatic animals and the life of animals that leave in the soil. This will ensure that the hospitality industry will play a major role in fighting environmental pollution and degradation. The company proposed will major its operations in soap production. The soaps will be produced on a large scale. It will also ensure that the company becomes entrepreneurial by ensuring that more quantities of soaps have been produced, which will be supplied to other users within the city.

The major targets of the soaps that are being produced are hotels across all parts of the city. This is because hotels require soaps for various reasons. The first reason is that hotels within the city will require soap for cleaning, which includes cleaning the utensils, which is done regularly within the hotel. Residents and staff working within the hotel will also require soap for cleaning and other general purposes. The hotel industry will tend to explore new products and products related to the soaps produced by the company. One of the things that the company will have to ensure is that the quality of the soaps being produced must be guaranteed. Scholars have observed that most soaps are made from chemicals and substances that produce nice smells at the expense of human skin. Secondly, the company must ensure that it penetrates the competitive market, and one of the ways of doing this is by ensuring that parameters that enhance competitive advantage have been put in place (Buonomo and Warshaw, 2021). In this case, one thing that needs to be done is to ensure that the products have been differentiated. Product differentiation ensures that a company's products have features that are different from similar products produced by other companies.

The soaps produced by this company must have distinctive features that will differentiate them from soaps produced by other companies. The company will also ensure that measures have been put in place to ensure that customers and the hotels within the city have been attracted and retained to continue consuming products from the company. This will ensure that the company remains relevant in the competitive market. The company proposed can also ensure that old soaps in the market have been collected and the process of value addition done on them to become more useful and effective. The company will ensure that systems have been put in place to collect old soap products. The collected products will then be re-processed by the company, added value, and re-sold to hotels within the city for profit (Chirani et al., 2021). Used soaps will be recycled by the company and re-sold to the city hotels and other potential customers.

As an entrepreneurship entity, the company will ensure that it collects data from the hotels within the city to establish the kind of soap-related products that will be required. Once this data has been collected, the company will ensure that the soaps and other related products that will be produced fit the specifications of the hotels. This will ensure that the supply of the products produced by the company meets the demand for soap products within the city. The company will also major in producing more soap products, which in some cases will be used in product promotions and campaigns. The company will also consider giving back to the community by ensuring that the company makes donations to society once in a while. This will foster good relationships between the company and the community. This is one of the strategies that the company could use to attract and retain more customers (Fameau and Marangoni, 2022). This is because once the community uses the donations they receive; they may be interested in obtaining such products from the company that gave the products to them. By so doing, they will become customers of the company that gave donations to them.

Corporate social responsibility is one of the roles that every company needs to consider within the area where it carries out its operations. In this regard, every company has the mandate to ensure that it offers help and support within its area. Some communities could be needy and poor. For this reason, the company will have to set aside a kitty that it will use to give back and serve the community. The proposed soap company is not exceptional in corporate social responsibility. It is of great importance to ensure that the community enjoys the products the company produces. The company will also ensure that a kitty has been set aside that will be used to ensure that the social needs of the society have been addressed. This will create good mutual relations between the community and the company, and in the long run, this will benefit the company (Ferracane et al., 2021). The company can best handle this by ensuring that systems have been put in place to ensure that the needs of society have been identified and well addressed.

The proposed soap company is purely entrepreneurial, so the management must ensure that its establishment's agenda, goals, and objectives have been met. Entrepreneurship skills will ensure that strategies have been put in place to ensure that the company produces soaps at low costs and sell them at relatively fair prices without exploiting consumers and making profits. The hospitality industry has been identified to be a key industry into which a company can comfortably venture. This is because of the rising number of hotels within and beyond. This has also led to a rise in demand for soap-related products. For this reason, more companies must be established to ensure that the supply of soap products within the city matches the demand for the same products (Ferracane et al., 2021). As this happens, companies must ensure that companies maximize profits. Several factors must be put in place to ensure this has been achieved.
